Opening Heather's Nite is local singer/songwriter Nikki Moddelmog performing songs from her debut CD, "Pathological Optimist." The ten self-penned songs that make up the album are told from a personal point of view, but strike a universal nerve. Nikki sings of imagined lovers, deafening silence, false starts and neglected beds. Nikki's disc is an eclectic collection that ranges from ballads to bluegrass to pop to tribal rhythms.
